Data Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Safeguard the company's data throughout its entire lifecycle (ingestion, processing, storage, consumption, and deletion).

• Design and implement technical controls (particularly in GCP) focusing on DLP, data governance, access management, encryption/keys, monitoring, and data incident response.

• Define and maintain the data classification and handling model.

• Implement and enhance data protection controls: access, encryption and key management, and hardening.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in security (Data Security / Cloud Security / SecEng) with actual implementation of controls.

• Strong knowledge of data protection: classification, PII/sensitive data, minimization, retention, and secure deletion.

• Practical knowledge of GCP (IAM, KMS/keys, logging/auditing, and relevant data/storage services).

• Experience applying access controls (RBAC/ABAC/least privilege) in cloud environments and data platforms.

• Ability to automate tasks and controls through scripting (Python/Bash or other).

• Strong communication and coordination skills with various technical and non-technical teams.
