Data Scientist – Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• The Data Scientist Team Lead is responsible for guiding a team of data scientists and analysts, focusing on their management, mentorship, and career development.

• This position highlights the importance of team leadership, ensuring the success of programs, and fostering professional growth.

• Works closely with Quality & Safety stakeholders to ensure that team efforts align with business objectives.

• Manages the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for new team members.

• Conducts regular performance assessments and provides constructive feedback to team members.

• Designs and implements mentoring initiatives to enhance the professional development of the team.

• Promotes knowledge sharing and teamwork within the group.

• Serves as a bridge between the data science team and other departments.

• Communicates project updates and insights to stakeholders across various levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)

• At least 6 years of relevant experience (Required)

• Familiarity with Quality & Safety Analytics

• Proficiency in Databricks

• Experience with Python

• Knowledge of SQL

• Expertise in advanced statistical analysis

• Understanding of machine learning techniques

• Awareness of emerging AI technologies and their implementation (including LLMs, RAG, GenAI, and agentic workflow integrations and deployment)
