Data Scientist – Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• The Data Scientist Team Lead is responsible for guiding a team of data scientists and analysts, focusing on career management, mentorship, and professional development.

• This position highlights leadership within the team, ensuring the success of programs and the growth of its members.

• Works in partnership with Quality & Safety stakeholders to align the team's objectives with business goals.

• Manages the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for new team members.

• Conducts regular performance assessments and delivers constructive feedback.

• Designs and executes mentoring initiatives to foster the professional advancement of team members.

• Promotes knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members.

• Serves as a bridge between the data science team and other departments.

• Provides project updates and insights to stakeholders across various levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree - (Required)

• At least 6 years of relevant experience* (Required)

• Proficiency in Quality & Safety Analytics

• Experience with Databricks

• Proficient in Python

• Strong skills in SQL

• Advanced knowledge in statistical analysis

• Experience in machine learning

• Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and their implementation (LLMs, RAG, GenAI, Agentic workflow integrations, and deployment)
