Data Scientist, Senior Data Analyst

📋 Description

• Examine both structured and unstructured datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and operational insights.

• Create analytical models and propose data-driven recommendations that align with mission and business goals.

• Assist in predictive analytics, statistical analysis, and advanced analytical initiatives.

• Work alongside stakeholders to convert operational inquiries into analytical solutions.

• Design dashboards, visualizations, and decision-support tools as needed.

• Cleanse, validate, and prepare data to ensure high-quality analysis.

• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Aid in data modernization and analytics projects within federal settings.

• Contribute to ongoing improvements, innovation, and best practices in analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Public Health, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, analytics, or data science positions.

• Proficient in using analytical tools or programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies.

• Skilled in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets.

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capable of working collaboratively in client-facing and cross-functional settings.

• Experience in supporting federal agencies, including VA, DoD, DHA, or civilian entities.

• Familiarity with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning methodologies.

• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.

• Experience in healthcare, operational, or mission-critical analytics.

• Familiarity with cloud or modern analytics environments.

• Experience in supporting AI/ML initiatives or advanced analytics frameworks.

• Background in Agile or DevSecOps environments.

• Eligibility for Public Trust or security clearance, or possess an active clearance.
