This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Examine real-world data to uncover trends relevant to various clinical and business scenarios, including treatment modalities and management expenses.
β’ Engage in the identification of significant clinical occurrences, such as cancer progression and treatments, utilizing CPT, NDC, ICD codes, and structured database text.
β’ Perform statistical analyses and survival modeling for clinical events derived from real-world data.
β’ Demonstrate the ability to visualize data findings and articulate them in a clear narrative.
β’ Assist data scientists in the creation of digital pathology AI models.
β’ Collaborate closely with bioinformaticians, statisticians, and medical professionals on manuscript preparation.
β’ PhD in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; alternatively, a Master's degree with 4+ years of pertinent post-graduate experience.
β’ Proven experience working with real-world data from insurance claims and EHR records.
β’ Proficient in SQL and R or a comparable programming language.
β’ Strong capabilities in data cleansing, manipulation, and visualization using tidyverse, ggplot in R, or equivalent tools.
β’ Expertise in statistical analysis, particularly in survival modeling and hypothesis testing.
β’ Familiarity with cloud computing environments, preferably AWS.
β’ Demonstrated attention to detail and proficiency in summarizing and conveying findings from data.
β’ Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work setting.
β’ Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
