📋 Description

• Work remotely while supporting a government contract for a client based in Washington, DC.

• Create and assist with data-focused tasks related to cybersecurity solutions.

• Design and architect analytic methodologies utilizing machine learning.


⛳️ Requirements

• Current Secret security clearance.

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, data project engineering, or software development for data solutions.

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, JSON, C++, Java, R, or Scala.

• Familiarity with containerization tools, including Kubernetes and Docker.

• Experience in architecting and designing innovative analytic methods using machine learning techniques.

• Background in developing and supporting data-centric tasks for cybersecurity solutions, including the creation of machine learning algorithms, data models, or architectural strategies for cyber defense.

• Expertise in developing and engineering data workflows to integrate diverse data sources and extract data-driven insights.

• Experience in designing and developing automation for security tools management, along with creating customized searches and applications.

• Knowledge of Cloud Service Provider (CSP) solutions and their resources, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).

• Familiarity with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) and security practices.

• Capability to utilize various data science skills and languages, analyze critical data issues using different methodologies, and maintain data integrity.

• Understanding of host and network-based security technologies.

• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND frameworks.

• Ability to apply analytical rigor and statistical/machine learning methods to analyze extensive datasets using advanced statistical techniques.

• Skill in analyzing both structured and unstructured data to address multiple complex cybersecurity challenges through advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses.

• Capacity to support high-visibility reporting on cybersecurity data by developing data visualizations and/or dashboards.
