This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gain insights into existing processes and pinpoint opportunities for utilizing data to drive solutions.
• Conduct data mining and analysis across various databases to develop solutions aimed at optimizing product development, client portfolios, and business strategies.
• Create and implement custom AI/ML models and algorithms applied to data sets to enhance products and processes.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of data for application in models and algorithms.
• Develop and execute A/B testing frameworks to measure model quality and validity.
• Communicate data analysis, model, and algorithm results to both business and technical teams to support informed decision-making.
• Design and construct predictive models to enhance and optimize portfolios, create revenue opportunities, reduce client attrition, and fine-tune portfolio segments for timely offers.
• Establish processes and tools for monitoring and analyzing model performance and data accuracy.
• Stay informed on industry standards and advancements in data-driven technologies and tools.
• Operate within an agile framework as necessary.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Over 2 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data science, or operations research, with a focus on advanced analytics development.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with various machine learning techniques, including clustering, ensemble methods, and artificial neural networks.
• Understanding the advantages and limitations of each technique and when to apply them.
• Skilled in advanced statistical techniques, including various regression models (linear, logistic, polynomial, etc.) and forecasting methods, with hands-on experience.
• Knowledgeable about cloud platforms for data science, preferably Azure and Databricks.
• Familiar with big data platforms such as Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• General understanding of PCI standards and regulations.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Experience with AI Models, NLP, and/or LLMs is preferred.
• Experience in building classification models is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey a narrative using data and visualizations.
