Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Advocate for a data-driven methodology throughout internal teams and client interactions, enhancing clarity and impact.

• Design and implement machine learning models aimed at fraud prevention across various fintech scenarios.

• Leverage data and models to aid in crafting risk mitigation strategies and interventions while enhancing user experience.

• Engage directly with clients to identify challenges and provide high-impact, data-informed solutions.

• Advance our risk metrics, associated datasets, and the evaluation of the causal effects of initiatives.

• Partner with engineering teams to deploy models in production and enhance their performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in data science or quantitative modeling, preferably within risk or fraud environments.

• An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, etc.).

• Proficient in Python, R, Spark, SQL, or comparable technologies.

• Exceptional critical thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.

• Demonstrated capability to convey complex technical insights to non-technical clients and stakeholders.
