Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Oden customers to define their data analysis and modeling requirements for genuine manufacturing challenges.

• Create and validate models, algorithms, and methodologies that are provided via the Oden platform.

• Confirm outcomes in active, real-world customer settings.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and deliver solutions.

• Transform unique solutions into next-generation product features.

• Work in conjunction with the Product team to convert customer challenges into actionable roadmap requirements.

• Present results externally, maintain awareness of industry advancements, and contribute to the evolution of the field.

• Develop predictive quality models, machine failure forecasting models, and methods for pattern discovery in time-series data.

• Examine real-time process measurements, external contextual data, quality metrics, cost, yield, and both structured and unstructured process knowledge.

• Engage with agentic AI models and frameworks, including Oden's Agentic Root Cause Analysis methodology.

• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product teams, and customers to identify issues, conduct trials and proofs of concept, and deliver finalized work through the Oden platform.

• Manage projects from initial concept through to development and deployment, serving as the bridge between Oden's technical team and customer stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional experience in roles such as Data Scientist or ML Engineer.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Economics, or a comparable discipline.

• Proficient in Python, including experience with standard ML and statistical libraries.

• Strong SQL expertise.

• Knowledge of process enhancement and exploratory methods, including experimental design and optimization.

• Practical experience with generative AI models for code development, experimentation, and generating insights.

• Comfortable directing cutting-edge AI models and AI agents.

• Ability and motivation to manage projects from inception to customer delivery.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
