This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop predictive models to enhance lending decisions through advanced statistical modeling and simulation techniques.
• Utilize advanced data analytics to analyze consumer risk behavior trends, assess their influence on the portfolio, and identify resulting business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the software engineering team to facilitate model implementation and conduct post-release checks and analyses.
• Contribute to the creation of technical tools and platforms aimed at standardizing and streamlining model development and monitoring processes.
• Define key performance metrics and create automated reporting dashboards using SQL and Python.
• Design A/B testing for models and underwriting strategies, assess their impact, and offer recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discover innovative ways to gain insights from data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Effectively communicate clear and actionable business strategies to senior management.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in data analytics and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams within a dynamic environment.
