This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Design and execute data science solutions throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Examine extensive and intricate datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Create and refine machine learning models along with advanced analytics workflows.
• Conduct feature engineering and data preparation for predictive modeling projects.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee the data science components of customer implementations, pilot programs, and production rollouts.
• Establish robust technical relationships with customers and external partners.
• Offer suggestions to enhance products, algorithms, and analytical capabilities.
• Provide training and facilitate knowledge transfer to end users and stakeholders.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of data-related and analytical challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or Big Data development.
• Proficient programming skills in Python.
• Experience with PySpark.
• Practical experience with large-scale data processing frameworks and machine learning pipelines.
• Familiarity with ML lifecycle and workflow management tools like MLflow, Airflow, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical modeling capabilities.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience interacting directly with customers or external stakeholders is advantageous.
• Background in financial services, fraud detection, risk analytics, compliance, or transaction monitoring is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data and machine learning environments is preferred.
• Experience in investigating anomalies and deriving insights from high-volume datasets is preferred.
• Understanding of best practices for machine learning model deployment and monitoring is preferred.
