This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated analytics solutions.
• Create scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows utilizing Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and notebooks.
• Develop dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Construct and maintain Power BI data models along with DAX measures.
• Enhance query performance, processing time, and overall data efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert analytical requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and the development of machine learning models.
• Optimize data models for reliability, governance, and reusability.
• Work with engineering teams to deploy analytics products into a production environment.
• Document processes, data definitions, and system logic comprehensively.
• Aid in the migration from Splunk to Databricks.
• Create and manage API integrations with external platforms, including OAuth 2.0 authentication and token management.
• Deliver analytics and dashboards that provide measurable business impact.
• Enhance data accessibility and reliability through structured models and pipelines.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders seeking data-driven insights.
• Ensure reporting integrity through validation, documentation, and data quality practices.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with substantial relevant experience may be considered without it.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or data science roles, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong expertise in Power BI for data modeling, DAX, report development, and visualization best practices.
• Significant experience with Databricks and distributed data processing (Spark).
• Advanced SQL skills, including experience in querying, transforming, and optimizing large datasets.
• Strong Python capabilities for data analysis, transformation, automation, and analytics.
• Experience with Power Automate for creating workflow automations.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and working with modern data architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to tailor technical depth for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data trends and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional settings while managing competing priorities.
• Ability to adapt solutions and troubleshoot using available resources.
• U.S. citizenship may be necessary for specific positions.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance may be required for certain roles.
