This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and implement sophisticated analytics solutions.
• Construct scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows utilizing Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and notebooks.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Develop and sustain Power BI data models along with DAX measures.
• Analyze extensive and complex datasets to enhance query performance, processing speed, and overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert analytical requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and the development of machine learning models.
• Optimize data models for reliability, governance, and reusability.
• Work alongside engineering teams to deploy analytics products into production environments.
• Document processes, data definitions, and system logic thoroughly.
• Assist in the transition from Splunk to Databricks.
• Establish and maintain API integrations with external platforms, including managing OAuth 2.0 authentication and token management.
• Provide dashboards and analytics that yield measurable business outcomes.
• Enhance data accessibility and reliability through structured models and pipelines.
• Guide stakeholders in pursuit of data-driven insights.
• Ensure reporting integrity through validation, documentation, and data quality practices.
• Secret clearance is mandatory; candidates currently holding a Secret clearance may be eligible for sponsorship to a higher-level clearance.
• U.S. citizenship might be required for specific positions.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or data science roles, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong expertise in Power BI for data modeling, DAX, report creation, and visualization best practices.
• Significant experience with Databricks and distributed data processing (Spark).
• Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and optimizing large datasets.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, transformation, automation, and analytics.
• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Proven experience in constructing and maintaining data pipelines and engaging with modern data architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and architectures, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to tailor technical depth for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
• Ability to adapt solutions and troubleshoot using available tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, but not essential for candidates with strong relevant experience.
• Experience with JIRA, CI/CD, DevOps, API integrations, OAuth 2.0, data governance, DataOps, UiPath/RPA, ServiceNow, Splunk, or AI tools is preferred and considered a bonus.
