Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models and data pipelines utilizing Python, pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn to ensure scalability and reliability in production environments.

• Design, implement, and enhance LLM-powered applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, which encompass prompt engineering, embedding strategies, vector store integration, and evaluation frameworks.

• Create and refine agentic AI systems that utilize tool usage, multi-step reasoning, and orchestration frameworks to automate intricate workflows and decision-making processes.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions and product strategies.

• Design and develop data visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate key metrics and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex data and model issues, minimizing drift while continuously enhancing pipeline efficiency and model accuracy.

• Promote technical excellence by conducting thorough model evaluations, pinpointing areas for improvement, and upholding best practices in code quality, experiment tracking, and reproducibility.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into data-driven insights, models, and high-quality analytical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer, demonstrating a successful history of delivering production-grade models.

• Expertise in Python and the essential data science toolkit: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and FastAPI.

• Strong SQL skills with experience in querying large datasets within cloud environments (Azure, AWS).

• Experience in building and deploying ML models and APIs, with knowledge of model serving and monitoring.
