📋 Description

• Take full ownership of a real-world project stream from start to finish, which may include tasks such as syndicate detection, sequencing user behavior, detecting market manipulation, or discovering features.

• Process and analyze vast amounts of data, reaching billions of records, utilizing tools like PySpark, Hive, and Trino.

• Create robust SQL pipelines for the purposes of feature engineering and validation.

• Design, assess, and refine machine learning models.

• Convert model performance metrics into business-related measures, including detection rate, false-positive rate, and latency.

• Collaborate with the Risk AI Data Science team on risk detection models that utilize large-scale data on user behavior, fund flow, and market trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Applications are welcome from current university students and recent graduates.

• Strong understanding of machine learning principles.

• Proficient in Python and SQL.

• Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.

• Comfortable handling large-scale datasets.

• Experience with Apache Spark is advantageous.

• Skilled in utilizing AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or Cursor.

• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a keen ability to investigate data anomalies and determine root causes.

• Excellent English communication skills, capable of articulating technical findings and collaborating effectively.
