Data Scientist 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Construct and validate machine learning, statistical, and optimization models tailored for business applications.

• Examine extensive and intricate datasets to uncover actionable insights and propose solutions.

• Create automated analytical workflows, reports, dashboards, and reusable data pipelines.

• Support Senior Data Scientists in assessing model performance and documenting methodologies.

• Convey technical findings and their business implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to convert business requirements into data science solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 1–3 years of pertinent experience.

• Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with Spark/PySpark is preferred.

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, tree-based models, deep learning) and statistical analysis.

• Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps, or concepts related to Generative AI is advantageous.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
