This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Conduct data hygiene and reconciliation by identifying and resolving issues related to missing, duplicate, malformed, or inconsistent records.
• Analyze manufacturing and testing data to uncover trends, anomalies, yield challenges, and process deviations.
• Oversee the quality, completeness, consistency, and usability of manufacturing-line data systems.
• Generate both recurring and ad hoc reports to facilitate engineering investigations, operational monitoring, and management decision-making.
• Design, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and reporting datasets.
• Assist with ETL-style data extraction and transformation workflows from manufacturing databases.
• Enhance and maintain Python-based extraction and processing scripts for regular data pulls, normalization, validation, and analytical support.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to facilitate optical test operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data analyst or manufacturing data support capacity.
• Proficient in SQL, including techniques such as joins, aggregations, filtering, subqueries, common table expressions, and performance-oriented query design.
• Experience in data hygiene, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance in operational datasets.
• Working knowledge of Python for the enhancement and maintenance of extraction, cleansing, and transformation scripts.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, testing, operations, or quality data environments.
• Familiarity with automated test systems, production systems, or factory equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of SPC, Cp/Cpk, yield analysis, or similar manufacturing/process-control concepts is preferred.
• Experience with Python libraries such as pandas is preferred.
• Familiarity with preparing data for Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
