Data QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain automated testing for data pipeline workflows

• Assist in testing processes for Sync ingestion flows and Delivery Stream (the foundational platform for data ingestion and processing)

• Collaborate with AI-based testing agents to create and automate tests

• Aid in integrating existing AI test agents into the Sync repository

• Work in partnership with engineers and testers from both teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend testing

• Proven experience in testing data platforms

• Proficiency in Python is required; familiarity with Robot Framework is preferred

• Background in test automation

• Strong SQL capabilities

• Interest in or experience with AI-assisted testing / AI agents

• Knowledge of Snowflake, Iceberg, Kafka, and ability to write queries

• Self-motivated, organized, and accountable

• Strong aptitude for learning and curiosity

• Ability to work across various products and teams

• Proactive in addressing quality issues and capable of working independently
