Data QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Ensure the accuracy of data and confirm production readiness by collaborating with the Data Engineering Manager and Analytics Engineering Lead across 18 different data domains.

• Develop and implement a reconciliation framework to systematically assess legacy pipeline outputs against new pipeline outputs, identifying any discrepancies and gaps.

• Perform structured acceptance testing for each pipeline before they are promoted to production environments.

• Validate the accuracy of identity resolution through thorough analysis of match rates, false positives, and false negatives.

• Document comprehensive end-to-end data lineage across all 18 domains to enhance auditability, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

• Create and maintain automated regression test suites to facilitate ongoing quality assurance as pipelines progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Quality, QA, or Data Analysis roles.

• Proficient SQL skills, with a proven ability to write complex queries for data validation, profiling, and reconciliation at scale.

• Familiarity with data quality frameworks, with preference for candidates possessing hands-on experience with Great Expectations.

• Strong proficiency in Python for automating tests, conducting data profiling tasks, and performing quality checks.

• Solid understanding of data profiling techniques, including distribution analysis, completeness checks, and anomaly detection.

• Experience in designing and implementing test automation strategies within data or analytics engineering environments.

• Ability to effectively document findings and communicate data quality issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Advanced English proficiency required for effective communication with global teams.
