Data Protection Solicitor – 8 years plus PQE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead a diverse range of data protection and privacy issues.

• Provide businesses with practical and commercially-oriented advice on compliance, governance, and risk management.

• Collaborate closely with founders, senior leadership teams, in-house counsel, and operational stakeholders.

• Offer clear and pragmatic guidance that fosters business growth.

• Advise on topics including UK GDPR compliance, data protection audits, data processing agreements, privacy notices, international data transfers, data subject rights requests, and commercial contracts.

• Assist clients with data protection due diligence during corporate transactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) with substantial expertise in data protection and privacy law.

• Proven experience in advising on UK GDPR compliance and broader data protection issues.

• Experience working with founder-led businesses, start-ups, and scale-ups is a plus.

• Capability to independently manage matters and provide pragmatic, commercially-focused guidance.

• Excellent drafting abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong skills in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.

• Confidence in collaborating with founders, leadership teams, and in-house legal departments.
