Data Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional data initiatives that encompass data engineering, database administration, Salesforce engineering, business intelligence, and analytics.

• Take ownership of requirements, roadmaps, and delivery for data development, operations, and analytics initiatives.

• Oversee complex projects, including managing milestones, dependencies, risks, timelines, and team resources.

• Convey project goals, decisions, risks, and progress to stakeholders across various functions.

• Collect and define feature requirements, propose solutions, secure stakeholder buy-in, negotiate timelines, and monitor implementation.

• Convert stakeholder needs into technical requirements and collaborate with Engineering and Analytics leaders to develop roadmaps.

• Enhance understanding of data pipelines, including ingestion, integration, consumption, and data management tools.

• Evaluate data catalog coverage and quality challenges, and create scalable, data-driven solutions.

• Identify and acquire internal and external solutions that enhance data products.

• Collaborate with Engineering to implement tools, improvements, and automation opportunities.

• Partner with Analysts and stakeholders to derive insights and translate them into strategic and actionable tasks.

• Facilitate discussions, foster consensus, and make prioritization decisions while maintaining stakeholder relationships.

• Coordinate project activities according to the roadmap in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Scrum certification.

• At least 8 years of experience in data projects and project or program management.

• Proven experience in managing data platforms, business intelligence, and data analytics functions.

• Experience in managing and delivering data development, operations, and analytics initiatives.

• Cross-functional project management experience involving both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to convert stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements and create roadmaps.

• Proficient in developing project plans, managing priorities and timelines, coordinating resources, and owning roadmap delivery.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to synthesize and simplify intricate concepts.

• Skilled in facilitating discussions, building consensus, and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Capacity to work efficiently in ambiguous environments and adapt to evolving requirements.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, attention-to-detail, follow-through, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Customer experience-oriented while achieving results.

• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship available, including CPT/OPT.

• Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a suitable home workspace.

• A Master’s degree, along with knowledge of Tableau and Splunk, is considered advantageous.
