This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +2 more states.
• Develop comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria by dissecting epics for integration and reporting scenarios.
• Spearhead feature and data product kick-off meetings.
• Facilitate estimation sessions and prepare stories for sprint planning.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to verify completed stories and secure client approval.
• Work closely with technical leads and client subject matter experts to guarantee that requirements are precise, complete, and technically viable.
• Assist in managing and prioritizing the client product backlog.
• Conduct backlog refinement meetings and monitor backlog health and sprint progress using Jira.
• Identify and escalate risks or obstacles while maintaining visibility of dependencies.
• Serve as a bridge between client stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Facilitate alignment among stakeholders and secure necessary sign-offs.
• Aid in the mapping of data products to data sources and target-to-source field mappings.
• Comprehend and convey data reconciliation, data quality, and transformation rules within the medallion architecture.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and show-and-tell sessions.
• Maintain and share delivery roadmaps using Jira or similar tools.
• Participate in discussions on continuous improvement and retrospectives.
• Monitor and report on team health metrics and delivery KPIs.
• Generate end-of-sprint reports and assist with automated reporting.
• Collaborate with account and delivery leadership as a member of the Account Leadership Team.
• Provide analytical insights into client challenges and support opportunities for improvement or growth.
• Over 10 years of experience as a Data Business Analyst in Agile delivery settings, including Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Proficient in writing user stories, managing backlogs, and facilitating stakeholder interactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities that bridge business and technical contexts.
• Expertise in Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Extensive experience in data and analytics initiatives, covering data lineage, transformation, and quality assurance.
• Client-mandated travel may be necessary based on client requirements.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting and data warehouse integration use cases.
• Knowledge of medallion data architecture and/or contemporary data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience in technology consulting or data transformation projects.
