This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of data products, from conception to implementation and enhancement.
• Manage the full data lifecycle, encompassing data generation, pipeline management, and data enablement.
• Comprehend data architecture and infrastructure, including storage solutions, integrations, and analytics platforms.
• Work collaboratively with both technical and business teams to establish roadmaps and prioritize tasks based on business value.
• Analyze various data types, relationships, patterns, and trends through data profiling.
• Clearly document specific and attainable data requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understand business workflows, sources, entities, and their attributes.
• Validate products against actual use cases through user feedback, utilizing data and metrics.
• Track product performance using metrics and KPIs to foster continuous improvement.
• Facilitate the integration of AI into team workflows.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams comprising data scientists, data developers, and analytics specialists.
• Attract, retain, and nurture data talent through mentorship, training, and growth opportunities.
• Proficient in English (C1 or higher) for effective communication with international stakeholders, both spoken and written.
• Strong practical experience in data and analytics environments; genuine technical depth is essential, beyond just product or analytics experience.
• Proven track record in managing data-related projects, including planning, execution, and communication with stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking abilities and a product-oriented mindset, with experience in value-based prioritization and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing technical teams.
• Familiarity with data platform environments hosted on Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience with modern data transformation and warehousing tools such as DBT and Snowflake.
• Competence in using project management tools for planning, tracking, and communicating delivery status.
• Prior experience working with international clients across various time zones is a plus.
• Background in transitioning from product management, project management, or technical team leadership to data product roles is advantageous.
• Experience with data governance practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with additional cloud platform providers like AWS or GCP is preferred.
