Data & Policy Graduate Fellow – AI Policy, Public Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Implement cutting-edge innovative and digital solutions addressing public interest challenges

• Play a key role in the execution of primary projects and the advancement of the Office of Innovation

• Utilize data and research methodologies to guide decision-making processes

• Engage with stakeholders to identify and address challenges

• Assist in large-scale public initiatives through policy research and project planning

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant educational background: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graduate program in public policy, technology, engineering, or related fields

• Understanding of policy documents, regulatory frameworks, and legislative procedures

• Proven experience in developing and implementing research strategies with diverse stakeholders

• Proficiency in utilizing generative AI tools for research purposes

• Familiarity with the academic research landscape and educational systems

• Experience in addressing complex problems using human-centered design and data-informed decision-making

• Committed to furthering the mission of the NJ Innovation Authority and public service
