Data & Policy Graduate Fellow – AI Policy, Public Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Implement cutting-edge innovative and digital solutions to address public interest issues.

• Assist in the execution of key projects and the development of the Office of Innovation.

• Utilize data and research methodologies to guide decision-making processes.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify and address challenges effectively.

• Aid in large-scale public initiatives through policy research and project planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant educational background: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graduate program related to public policy, technology, engineering, or similar fields.

• Understanding of policy documents, regulatory frameworks, and legislative procedures.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing research strategies involving multiple stakeholders.

• Familiarity with generative AI tools for conducting research.

• Knowledge of academic research frameworks and educational systems.

• Proven ability to tackle complex problems through human-centered design and data-informed decision-making.

• Commitment to furthering the mission of the NJ Innovation Authority and serving the public.
