• Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that manage and process substantial volumes of data.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ascertain data requirements and create software solutions that efficiently integrate and utilize data.

• Constructing and optimizing data models and databases for enhanced performance and efficiency.

• Writing code to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data warehouses or data lakes.

• Implementing data quality checks and governance processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.

• Troubleshooting and resolving software and data-related issues as they arise.

• Engaging with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.

• Conducting performance testing and optimization for software applications that manage large datasets.

• Experience in the healthcare industry.

• Over 4 years of professional experience in the software engineering or data engineering fields.

• Proficient knowledge and experience with Scala or PySpark.

• Familiarity with modern data pipeline orchestration tools for creating complex ETL pipeline jobs.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems.

• Skilled in designing distributed system architectures.

• Proficient in acquiring and preparing data from both primary and secondary disparate data sources.

• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure.

• Familiarity with Databricks.
