This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Take ownership of the operational lifecycle for external data partnerships after contract execution. Serve as the main operational and technical liaison for hospitals, biobanks, CROs, and research laboratories.
• Oversee secure biomedical data transfers utilizing cloud infrastructure and standardized transfer protocols. Manage access controls, encryption, and ingestion workflows across various cloud storage systems (AWS S3, SFTP, APIs, direct upload pipelines).
• Collaborate with internal technical and product teams to establish and uphold consistent data models and metadata standards across intricate clinical and multi-modal datasets.
• Partner closely with engineering and data teams to configure and sustain efficient ingestion and QC pipelines. Recognize operational bottlenecks and repetitive workflows, transforming them into scalable systems, scripts, templates, dashboards, or automation tools that enhance operational efficiency and transparency.
• Coordinate both automated and manual quality control checks for incoming datasets. Detect missing data, inconsistencies, corruption, or metadata mismatches, and directly engage with external partners to address issues.
• Keep a centralized “single source of truth” for all incoming datasets, documenting ingestion status, completeness, QC status, and milestone tracking.
• Biomedical Data Expertise: Profound knowledge of clinical and biomedical data structures, including real-world data, clinical trial datasets, and multi-omics data modalities. Experience in oncology, immunology, or similar therapeutic areas is highly preferred.
• Cloud & Data Infrastructure: Demonstrated experience managing data lifecycles in cloud environments, especially AWS (S3, CLI, access management). Knowledge of secure data transfer protocols and large-scale biomedical data handling processes is essential.
• Data Wrangling & Technical Skills: Expertise in Python or R, as well as SQL for querying and transforming datasets. Capability to write lightweight scripts, automate workflows, and engage with APIs or cloud-based systems.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of managing multiple external collaborations and operational workstreams concurrently. Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical issues into clear guidance for both scientific and non-technical stakeholders.
• Operational Problem Solving: Adept at working independently in ambiguous settings. Strong analytical and organizational abilities to identify bottlenecks, enhance processes, and promote operational efficiency.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• A collaborative and mission-driven work environment.
• Competitive salary and equity package.
• Flexible work arrangements, including remote options.
• Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
• The chance to influence the future of biology and AI through innovative work.
