• Developed and implemented a SQL-driven ETL process to transfer decades of public safety data from an outdated system to the Mark43 platform.

• Partnered with our data migration contractors to review technical outputs and offer guidance, ensuring their success.

• Engaged with a customer’s records management team to gain insights into their legacy data structure and translate it into the Mark43 schema.

• Investigated a uniquely formatted source database to identify edge cases and guarantee data integrity.

• Collaborated with Mark43 deployment, engineering, and product teams to refine our migration tools and processes.

• Managed project timelines and quality expectations while fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• A minimum of 2 years experience in data migration, ETL development, or SQL development.

• Extensive knowledge of SQL and relational database design principles.

• Proven experience in crafting complex SQL scripts.

• Capability to analyze and convert legacy data models into new schemas.

• Experience in managing contractor deliverables is advantageous.

• A keen interest in public safety data and understanding the significance of high-quality migrations for customer success.

• Previous experience with public safety or government systems is a plus.
