Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the exploration, assessment, and incorporation of new datasets, partnering with key data stakeholders to understand their significance and relevance to our core products and the healthcare sector, including pipeline development and data modeling/documentation.

• Oversee the technical management of data assets, ensuring clear tracking and maintenance of context throughout the dataset lifecycle while nurturing strong collaborations with partners on ingestion and solution data engineering.

• Convert product and analytical visions into highly effective data pipelines that support high-quality and reliable data products, which includes designing data structures, constructing and scheduling data transformation pipelines, and enhancing transparency.

• Establish and uphold the standard for data engineering practices within the organization by guiding architectural strategies, data pipeline designs, and the incorporation of innovative technologies to promote a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, building, and managing cloud-based, highly available, observable, and scalable data platforms.

• Relevant industry certifications in various Data Architecture services (such as Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional, AWS Certified Data Engineer or Solutions Architect Professional, SnowPro® Advanced Architect/Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer, and dbt Analytics Engineering).

• Proficiency in MLOps and/or in developing and maintaining machine learning models and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and analytics technologies (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau, etc.).

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
