This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Supervise the upkeep of data infrastructure and architecture for Oil, Gas, and Remediation projects.
• Lead initiatives related to data generation, storage, and processing.
• Ensure the application of efficient data management solutions and best practices.
• Manage databases and data processing systems.
• Guarantee that data is accessible, reliable, secure, and processed efficiently.
• Integrate, optimize, and oversee multiple large-scale data sources.
• Potentially develop automated reporting systems and data solutions.
• Provide software solutions that facilitate data movement from its source to internal databases.
• Responsible for the upkeep of data pipelines that support data analysis and reporting.
• Analyze intricate issues and propose solutions that enhance data storage processes and methodologies.
• Utilize judgment beyond defined parameters and precedents to make decisions and address business and technical challenges.
• Accountable for the outcomes of assigned projects and processes.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in data programming languages.
• Show extensive knowledge of data optimization tools, data structures, data architecture, and data warehousing solutions.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of API integration to facilitate data access, collection, distribution, transformation, and ELT processes.
• Apply algorithmic and statistical methods, data processing tools, and AI-driven approaches to enhance efficient data consumption and analysis.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Engineering, or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Experience with environmental software implementation in a consulting or Oil & Gas environment.
• Strong preference for knowledge in one or more EDM software packages such as Earthsoft EQuIS Suite and Locus EIM.
• Familiarity with environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, environmental data analysis, and/or visualization.
• Background in data engineering, business intelligence (BI), or analytics development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational and analytical databases.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
• Experience in developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Experience in designing and supporting data pipelines, data integration, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience working with cloud-based or enterprise data warehousing solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise business systems such as Oracle, Workday, CMiC, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, including the Power Platform.
