This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
β’ Oversee the classification of sensitive data across source-system tables and their associated dimension values.
β’ Develop dynamic data-masking and row-access policies for sensitive financial information, tailored by role and business unit.
β’ Establish access tiering between raw and curated data, along with models promoting least-privilege access.
β’ Create auditable lineage at the column level, tracing data from source through landing, staging, conformed, and curated layers, as well as semantic models and reports.
β’ Assist in master data management initiatives to standardize critical business metric definitions.
β’ Produce platform-agnostic governance materials, including policy objects/tags and version-controlled classification and lineage documentation.
β’ Collaborate with Security, Privacy, and Compliance teams to obtain design approval prior to implementation.
β’ Address network and identity boundary issues related to sensitive data.
β’ Facilitate the integration of classification and lineage artifacts into enterprise catalog/governance tools without directly operating those tools.
β’ Extensive experience in data security and privacy governance roles within enterprise data platforms, emphasizing hands-on policy implementation rather than just policy writing.
β’ Proven experience in data classification, dynamic masking, and row-access/row-level security implementation on a contemporary cloud data warehouse, preferably Snowflake.
β’ Experience in designing or contributing to column-level lineage within multi-layer data pipelines.
β’ Familiarity with data privacy and access governance practices in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or similar sectors.
β’ Confident in leading the design of classification and masking during the design-validation phase, where the output directly influences subsequent build phases.
β’ Proficient in English (C1 level).
β’ Experience with Microsoft Fabric/OneLake governance boundaries alongside Snowflake is a plus.
β’ Background in mortgage, lending, or data governance within financial services is advantageous.
β’ Knowledge of restricting AI-assisted development tools to only access metadata or aggregate data, without exposure to raw sensitive values, is beneficial.
