Data Manager – Clinical Trials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Oversee the establishment, testing, maintenance, and input of databases.

• Engage with clients, project teams, and vendors regarding data management issues.

• Evaluate study documents and formulate project-specific guidelines and instructions.

• Create eCRFs, Data Management Plans, and Data Validation Plans.

• Conduct testing of EDC databases.

• Ensure data entry, follow-up, and validation, which includes manual CRF review and SAE reconciliation.

• Code medical data accurately.

• Monitor and report metrics leading to database lock.

• Coordinate the processing, dispatch, and archiving of CRFs and queries.

• Maintain working files for Clinical Data Management.

• Execute database quality control checks.

• Prepare for and participate in audits.

• Provide training to site staff and project teams on CRF completion and data management subjects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a college or university.

• A degree in Life Sciences or Pharmacy is an advantage.

• Proven experience in managing clinical or medical data within a CRO is essential.

• Full professional proficiency in English is required.

• Familiarity with Clinical Data Management systems (such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm).

• Competence in MS Office applications.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Capability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
