Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Spearhead data-driven solutions while striking a balance between strategic management and practical execution.

• Manage the complete lifecycle of data products, encompassing ideation, development, deployment, and optimization.

• Convert behavioral metrics into actionable business insights and visual data representations for marketing and product strategies.

• Conduct data analysis to support business and digital product expansion through effective data visualization.

• Lead interdisciplinary teams of data scientists, engineers, and analytics experts.

• Attract, retain, nurture, mentor, and train data talent.

• Collaborate with both technical and business teams to identify data requirements and priorities.

• Prioritize initiatives and outline roadmaps while addressing stakeholder expectations.

• Analyze various data types, relationships, patterns, and trends.

• Establish clear, specific, and attainable data requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Comprehend business workflows, data sources, entities, and attributes.

• Validate data products with users through metrics and data analysis.

• Monitor product performance utilizing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Assess the effectiveness of data initiatives and investments, fostering continuous improvement.

• Grasp data architecture and infrastructure, including storage solutions, integrations, and analytics platforms tailored for e-commerce.

• Facilitate the integration of AI within team workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at a C1 level or higher.

• Experience collaborating with international clients.

• Familiarity with leading Cloud Platform providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.

• Strong strategic thinking abilities and a product-oriented mindset.

• Demonstrated experience in value-based prioritization.

• Proven leadership capabilities with a hands-on approach.

• Background in Data Platform, Data Visualization, or Advanced Analytics.

• Experience with on-premises and cloud data migration.

• Proficiency in project management tools.

• Experience with AI/ML technologies.

• Spanish language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
