Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Drive data-centric solutions for clients, merging strategic oversight with practical implementation.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of data products from the conception and development phases through to deployment and optimization.

• Deliver data analysis and visualization to foster business and digital product expansion.

• Lead interdisciplinary teams comprising data scientists, engineers, and analytics professionals.

• Attract, retain, nurture, mentor, and train data talent.

• Work collaboratively with technical and business teams to assess data requirements and prioritize projects.

• Establish task priorities and roadmaps while addressing stakeholder expectations.

• Examine data types, relationships, patterns, and trends via data profiling.

• Define explicit data requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Comprehend business workflows, data sources, entities, and attributes.

• Validate data products with users by utilizing data and metrics.

• Track product performance through metrics and KPIs.

• Evaluate the impact of data initiatives and investments and promote ongoing enhancement.

• Grasp data architecture and infrastructure, including storage solutions, integrations, and analytics platforms for e-commerce.

• Facilitate the integration of AI into team workflows.

• Lead the tracking strategy for one of Mexico's largest e-commerce platforms, converting behavioral metrics into actionable business insights and visualizations for marketing and product strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at a C1 level or higher.

• Experience engaging with international clients.

• Familiarity with major Cloud Platform providers such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience with data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.

• Strong strategic thinking abilities and a product-oriented mindset.

• Experience with prioritization based on value.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a hands-on approach.

• Background in Data Platform, Data Visualization, or Advanced Analytics (preferred).

• Familiarity with on-premises and cloud data migration (preferred).

• Experience with project management tools (preferred).

• Knowledge of AI/ML (preferred).

• Proficiency in Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking (preferred).
