Data Labeling Analyst – Speech & Voice AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Revise training and testing model databases by incorporating new or modified synthetic text and image data.

• Adjust and enhance machine learning data generation, annotation, and evaluation guidelines.

• Commence model training procedures utilizing internal tools and command-line interfaces.

• Assess the performance of trained models to determine their effectiveness and readiness for deployment.

• Create and develop testing and training datasets according to the criteria established by the project manager and other full-time staff.

• Manage data efficiently, ensuring its integrity throughout the entire workflow.

• Participate in data relevance activities to ensure data sets align with project objectives.

• Accurately annotate data, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

• Perform manual quality analysis of model outputs.

• Identify error patterns and report anomalies for further analysis.

• Provide comprehensive reports on findings, covering aspects such as utterance quality, LLM evaluation, ASR bug tracking, and customer pain points for review by the User Experience Research team.

• Implement fundamental quality control measures to guarantee the reliability of processed data.

• Employ intermediate data analysis techniques to derive insights and support decision-making.

• Utilize basic knowledge of natural language processing and linguistics in data processing tasks.

• Ensure linguistic precision in all processed and annotated data.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related discipline.

• Experience with command-line tools and interfaces.

• Strong analytical abilities with a knack for identifying patterns and anomalies.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
