This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Actively participates in committees, upgrades, implementations, and projects related to patient/guarantor matching and record correction to support Data Integrity.
• Takes a leadership role in projects concerning Data Integrity workflows and system modifications.
• Aids in the planning, deliverables, and follow-up tasks.
• Collaborates with the Manager of Enterprise Data Integrity Operations to identify and coordinate change initiatives, including communication, change readiness assessment, gap analysis, education, workflows, and policy and procedural modifications.
• Creates training materials and supporting documentation to facilitate project execution and implementation activities.
• Promotes the standardization of all facets of Data Integrity across the corporation, aligning with acute and ambulatory services, as well as Joint Ventures and Health Connect partners.
• Develops and maintains corporate documentation, policies, and procedures for standardized Data Integrity operations.
• Assists in the generation, interpretation, analysis, and dissemination of information pertinent to Data Integrity metrics, quality, productivity, and compliance activities.
• Identifies data integrity issues and reports them to the Data Integrity Manager for assessment.
• Provides feedback and training to teams engaged in patient search and selection functions.
• Raises issues of repeated occurrences to management for further action.
• Contributes to the training, coaching, and mentoring of new colleagues in the Data Integrity Department.
• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management - Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management - Preferred
• 5 years of EHR Experience - Required
• 5 years of Health Information Management Experience - Required
• 2 years of Data Integrity Experience - Preferred
• 1 year of Epic Operational/End User Experience - Preferred
• 1 year of Process Improvement Activities - Preferred
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) - Required
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) - Preferred
