This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Map, extract, transform, and load data from source to target through various stages.

• Take ownership of ETL pipelines that facilitate data exchange through HL7 standard transactions such as FHIR, 2.x, CCDA, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, flat files, SFTP, and other modalities.

• Collaborate with client-facing teams to clarify and implement data requirements, standardize data file templates, and establish and maintain necessary data source feeds.

• Provide technical support for integrating EMR/EHR and patient eligibility data with internal systems and operational teams.

• Convert business needs into data models that support long-term, scalable, and reliable solutions.

• Develop new APIs and functionalities for data ingress and egress with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building healthcare data integrations with at least 2 or more EHR systems (EPIC, Allscripts, Athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Cerner, Greenway, Meditech).

• Familiarity with healthcare data workflows and standards, including HL7 FHIR, HL7 CDA, HL7 2.x, EDI X12, LOINC, ICD10, SNOMED, and CPT.

• Proficient in data quality processes, checks, validations, metrics definition, and measurement.

• Proven experience working with data warehousing and ETL architectures and concepts.

• Skilled in creating new APIs from the ground up and automating data pipelines.

• A strong passion for enhancing healthcare and the patient experience.

• Eagerness to build foundational API and data integration capabilities for a rapidly growing startup.
