This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Lead the strategy, policies, and standards for enterprise data governance.

• Oversee the implementation and management of Unity Catalog for centralized governance and access control.

• Propel initiatives focused on data quality, metadata management, lineage, and cataloging.

• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, security, and business teams to promote best practices in governance.

• Establish frameworks for data stewardship and ownership.

• Ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards.

• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to foster governance adoption and address challenges.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management.

• Strong practical experience with Unity Catalog (Mandatory).

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.

• Proficient in SQL and knowledgeable about cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
