This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the enterprise data governance strategy, roadmap, and execution, starting with MDM workflow governance.
• Evaluate existing Stibo MDM workflows across vendor, product, and customer domains alongside data stewards.
• Analyze business processes involved in integrating master data within a multi-ERP environment.
• Outline the creation, enrichment, approval, distribution, and consumption processes of master data.
• Detect gaps, control deficiencies, manual interactions, and inefficiencies.
• Redesign MDM workflows to align with enterprise governance and facilitate automation.
• Establish and uphold governance policies, standards, procedures, and decision-making frameworks.
• Create data stewardship, ownership, and accountability structures.
• Drive enhancements in data quality, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and control design.
• Oversee master data, metadata, business glossary, and reference data management practices.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, compliance, security, analytics, and the Stibo platform team.
• Expand governance coverage to encompass the broader enterprise data landscape.
• Track KPIs and communicate governance maturity, data quality trends, and risks to senior stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in enterprise data management.
• Extensive experience in data governance, data quality, metadata management, and enterprise data strategy.
• Strong grasp of master data management principles and MDM workflows.
• Proficient knowledge of the Stibo Systems MDM platform.
• Solid understanding of workflows related to vendor, product, and customer data domains.
• Demonstrated experience in mapping current-state workflows and redesigning them for governance and automation.
• Proven track record in defining and implementing enterprise-scale data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with stewardship models, data quality standards, and approval processes.
• Established ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives within a complex organization.
• Hands-on experience with Stibo Systems is mandatory.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in distribution, retail, or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
