Data Entry Specialist – Medicaid Registration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service.

• Collect comprehensive documentation and accurately input information into various systems for the KanCare program.

• Assess submitted applications and enter applicant details into the Kansas Economic and Enforcement System (KEES).

• Investigate and analyze issues, ensuring adequate information is available to determine subsequent steps.

• Perform additional searches to extract precise data and input it accordingly.

• Utilize multiple source documents to validate data or incorporate supplemental information to complete tasks.

• Stay informed about current regulations, policies, and guidelines.

• Follow up on outstanding documents that require analysis.

• Return incorrect electronic data forms to the customer for further information.

• Participate in assigned training to enhance knowledge of Kansas Medicaid eligibility programs.

• Address inquiries regarding the eligibility process and provide general information about Family Medical and E&D/LTC Programs.

• Respond to questions in a courteous, accurate, and concise manner.

• Assess information received via phone communication and pose appropriate follow-up questions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education is preferable.

• At least six (6) months of experience in customer service.

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in data entry.

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate complex software systems.

• Experience with MS Office, Outlook, and Internet usage.

• Requires excellent data entry skills, with the capability to type a minimum of 28 words per minute accurately.
