This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify patients who qualify for the trauma registry.
• Abstract and evaluate data from medical records.
• Assign codes for AIS, ISS, and ICD-10.
• Ensure that data entry and reporting are both timely and accurate.
• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing trauma program quality and educational efforts.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a registry (Trauma, Stroke, Cardiac, Cancer, or a related field).
• At least 2 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD-10 coding, and chart abstraction.
• Certification as a Specialist in Trauma Registry (CSTR) or the ability to secure it within two years of becoming eligible.
