Data Entry Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Accurately input and refresh clinical and operational information into internal systems and databases.

• Examine data for completeness, precision, and consistency, identifying and rectifying discrepancies as needed.

• Organize, preserve, and digitize research documents and records.

• Assist in data validation and quality control processes in accordance with research protocols.

• Create basic reports or summaries to aid team insights and decision-making.

• Uphold strict confidentiality of patient, clinical, and proprietary information.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical and administrative personnel, to guarantee data integrity.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-week internship starting in mid-July.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Life Sciences, Health Administration, Business, or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality, accurate work.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or comparable tools.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.

• Interest in clinical research, healthcare, or data management.

• Clear communication abilities and a collaborative approach.

• Previous experience in administrative tasks, research, or data entry is advantageous.

• Familiarity with clinical research processes, electronic data capture (EDC) systems, or healthcare settings is a plus.

• Basic understanding of data privacy standards such as HIPAA is beneficial.

• Must reside in the US.
