This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Design and create data ingestion architectures utilizing Snowflake.
• Oversee data engineering projects from initial discovery and requirements gathering to POC validation and deployment in production.
• Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team.
• Develop platform-agnostic data pipelines and schemas capable of handling high volumes.
• Create data models for submit-grade-return workflows, identity graphs, record matching, and deduplication systems.
• Take ownership of discovery pipeline initiatives and functional POCs.
• Implement matching logic for high-volume data.
• Conduct performance, load, and scalability testing.
• Evaluate and enhance latency, throughput, connection stability, and integration options.
• Define data integration strategies and effectively communicate trade-offs to clients.
• Guide the selection of infrastructure and tools.
• Lead the design and integration strategy for partner-facing APIs.
• Architect solutions for batch processing versus real-time data.
• Design governed clean-room solutions for the exchange of partner data.
• Establish technical standards for schema design, SQL quality, pipeline development, and readiness for production through reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Over 7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering within production environments.
• At least 2 years of direct team leadership or technical management experience.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL.
• Strong expertise in schema and data model design, complex joins, and performance optimization.
• Experience with high-volume record matching, deduplication, and identity resolution systems.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, and others.
• Expertise in pipeline development, performance testing, and analysis of latency and throughput.
• Experience in designing both batch and real-time data integration workflows.
• Knowledge of governed clean-room solutions and data governance practices.
• Understanding of API design, microservices patterns, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in hiring, team-building, and mentoring.
• Advanced English proficiency required for communication with global teams and client leadership.
