Data Engineer, Snowflake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable data pipelines utilizing Snowflake.

• Construct and enhance ETL/ELT workflows for both structured and semi-structured data.

• Write intricate SQL queries, stored procedures, and develop data models.

• Integrate data from various sources including APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and cloud storage solutions.

• Enhance Snowflake performance, manage warehouse utilization, and improve query efficiency.

• Establish data quality checks, monitoring systems, and troubleshooting processes.

• Facilitate data warehousing, reporting, and analytics needs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective data solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Data Engineering.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Advanced understanding of SQL and data warehousing principles.

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Matillion, or equivalent.

• Experience in Python for data processing and automation tasks.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Comprehension of dimensional modeling, data lakes, and data warehouse architecture.

• Preferred experience with Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Time Travel, and clustering.
