Data Engineer – Mid/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and establish the data warehouse along with a data lake utilizing S3.

• Create an offline Feature Store (SQL Server, ensuring point-in-time accuracy) and an online Feature Store (Redis).

• Build ETL/ELT pipelines incorporating version control, data lineage tracking, and data quality assessments.

• Enhance current pipelines and analytical dashboards as a foundation for the data lake.

• Incorporate event-driven architecture (Azure Service Bus / Kafka) to facilitate real-time feature updates.

• Collaborate with ML Engineers to support MLOps pipelines (Azure ML, MLflow).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in English or Spanish (for international clients).

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, preferably with SQL Server.

• Proficient in Python for developing data pipelines.

• Experience with AWS services — S3, RDS; familiarity with ECS/EC2 and Application Load Balancer is a plus.

• Proven experience in constructing production ETL/ELT pipelines, including data quality testing and version control.

• Strong understanding of best practices related to data lineage, point-in-time accuracy, and partitioning.
