This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of and optimize data pipelines, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and efficiency from ingestion to delivery.
• Establish and uphold dbt best practices, data standards, and quality control measures.
• Develop self-service tools and create comprehensive documentation to empower cross-functional teams (Engineering, Revenue Operations, Growth, and others) to address their data needs independently.
• Design AI agents to respond to data inquiries from team members.
• Proven experience in formalizing and scaling data pipelines, preferably as one of the initial data engineers on a growing team.
• In-depth expertise in dbt is required.
• Skilled in utilizing tools within the modern data stack (Python, SQL, BI tools).
• Ability to think structurally; adept at transforming complex, disorganized data into understandable formats.
• Strong capability to comprehend diverse stakeholder requirements and develop generalized solutions.
