Data Editor – Sports & TV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive research and generate detailed data entries for various sports events, tournaments, and leagues.

• Identify and establish new programs in the database as necessary.

• Perform thorough research to gather all relevant background information regarding Sports Events.

• Ensure that identical and duplicate programs are consolidated.

• Review your work meticulously and rectify any discrepancies that may arise.

• Guarantee that the data sets provided to customers are complete, punctual, and free from errors on two occasions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of prominent European Football Leagues and major international sporting events (such as Tennis Grand Slams, NBA, Formula 1, NFL, Olympic Games, and Tour de France).

• A university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sports Management, Journalism, Business, or Data).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an exceptional ability to detect errors from a distance.

• Proficient in working with data, databases, and online research tools.

• Very comfortable navigating data searches, computers, and databases.

• Excels in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

• Eager to learn and adapt to new tools and processes on a daily basis.

• Team-oriented mindset, enjoying collaboration within an international team.

• Enthusiastic about metadata, sports, and providing excellent user experiences.
