Data Conversion Lead Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design, development, testing, and delivery of Oracle application solutions for clients across diverse industries.

• Collaborate with the technical team to fill FBDI templates, load and improve inbound data, and conduct end-to-end testing of conversions.

• Develop functional specifications and data mappings.

• Reconcile converted data with legacy and source-system data.

• Extract converted data from Oracle Cloud using SQL and Excel, and present the findings to client personnel.

• Work in partnership with IT, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

• Produce technical design documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience with Oracle Applications, including previous involvement in data conversions and reconciliations into Oracle Applications.

• Proficient in creating functional specifications, utilizing FBDI templates, data mapping, and reconciling converted data with legacy data.

• Fundamental understanding of Oracle Applications base tables, interface tables, APIs, and FBDI templates used by OIC for loading data into Oracle Cloud Applications.

• Experience with SQL and Excel for extracting converted data from Oracle Cloud, reconciling it with source system data, and presenting results to client personnel.

• Basic comprehension of business processes such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Budget to Report, Acquire to Retire, and Payroll.

• Familiarity with Hyperion-based EPBCS, SAP Adapters, DB2, and RSTARS (SOAR) is advantageous.

• Exceptional technical problem-solving abilities.

• Strong client interfacing skills, including collaboration with IT and business stakeholders as well as technical design documentation writing.

• Experience in converting master and transactional data in the Finance & SCM area, with at least one complete end-to-end implementation.

• Basic knowledge of System Integration Testing (SIT) and Mock Conversion Cycle processes within an Oracle Cloud environment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
