Data Center Manager – AI Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical implementation and infrastructure configuration at our US compute locations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across power, cooling, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Lead initial site assessments, evaluating potential spaces and colo data halls for technical viability before making commitments.

• Manage the entire deployment process, from site evaluation and hardware selection to physical installation, commissioning, and transitioning to live operations.

• Serve as the main technical representative on-site, collaborating directly with contractors and internal teams to bring each location online.

• Carry out comprehensive technical fitouts, including logistics, equipment rigging, rack installation, and deployment of high-density hardware.

• Install, validate, and sustain direct-to-chip liquid cooling loops along with the essential critical infrastructure.

• Establish and uphold structural, mechanical, and electrical safety standards across all sites under your management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in executing infrastructure projects from inception to completion, including data center fitouts, critical facility constructions, or commissioning in colo or hyperscale settings.

• Extensive technical expertise in mission-critical power infrastructure, encompassing HV/LV distribution, UPS systems, backup generation, and switchgear, having designed, maintained, or commissioned these systems directly.

• In-depth knowledge of cooling systems including CRAC/CRAH, chilled water loops, and CDUs. Practical experience with liquid cooling methods (direct-to-chip, immersion, rear-door) is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with high-density computing: HPC hardware, GPU rack configurations, or high-density data suites, with a strong grasp of the extreme power density requirements for the associated infrastructure.

• Highly independent and self-motivated, with a proven history of taking full ownership of physical infrastructure projects in dynamic environments.

• Open to candidates located anywhere in the US. Our sites are spread nationwide.
