This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Evaluate current data center environments and suggest enhancements (power, cooling, racks, cabling, layout, monitoring, resilience, safety).
• Examine existing documentation and create clear deliverables (assessment reports, risk findings, action plans).
• Assist in the redesign of our data center support/service lines (scope of services, checklists, SLAs, maintenance plans, commissioning/handover templates).
• Develop high-level and detailed diagrams (single-site / dual-site options, redundancy, topology).
• Provide Bill of Quantities (BOQ) guidance and vendor-neutral suggestions; assist with proposal/tender documentation as required.
• Ensure recommendations align with international standards and best practices (e.g., Uptime concepts, TIA-942, ISO/IEC 22237, ASHRAE).
• Demonstrated experience in data center assessment, design, or operations (enterprise or colocation).
• Strong comprehension of data center infrastructure: electrical, cooling, structured cabling, physical security, monitoring/DCIM.
• Capability to generate professional reports and diagrams suitable for clients and tenders.
• Ability to work independently and deliver remotely.
• Preferred certifications: One or more of the following (or equivalent): Uptime Institute (ATD / AOS / ATS / ATF), Schneider Electric Data Center Certified Associate/Professional (DCCA/DCCP), CDCP / CDCS / CDCE (EPI), BICSI (e.g., DCDC), Cisco / Juniper / Fortinet certifications (beneficial for network/security aspects), PMP/PRINCE2 (optional).
